What is the wood used to produce these wooden pallets? Does it affect the taste of the pizza?

Outi wood pellets are a 100% British oak wood that is optimised for flavour and high temperatures.

Are normal firelighters compatible with Outi ovens?

You can use either firelighters or a blowtorch to ignite your wood pellets. However it is vital to ensure that the firelighters you use are devoid of any kerosene or other similar additives. These chemicals can be absorbed into the oven floor and badly affect the flavour of your food.

Is the Outi pizza oven portable?

Yes, it weighs only 12 kg. A specially designed Outi CarryCover is also available which makes transporting the pizza oven extra easy whilst also acting as a protective cover when the pizza oven is not in use.
